I wasn't sure that when I opened Willow Bridal whether my concept of a bridal store would work.
I am not a believer in being the same as everyone else, and offering what others can't. After many years of working in bridal and being told this is how its done opening Willow was a way to change this. I wanted to be able to give you custom bridal gowns for the price of regular bridal boutiques whilst giving the highest level of customer service as standard.
Every collection we carry has to be able to be make changes to a gown to make it unique whether thats a made to measure wedding dress, fabric changes, additional embellishments and creating a unique gown. We don't believe in that cookie cutter wedding dress everyone has. I believe you should be you, unique you on your wedding day and not a replica of anyone else.
Shopping for your wedding dress should be an amazing experience, and one to cherish, not being told you look amazing in everything when both you and the stylist know otherwise. I've always believed in a honest voice during appointments about what is right for your body shape whilst creating your unique aisle style. As a bride you should not compromise on your style or wants. I spend many hours reviewing bridal collections, new techniques to customise gowns, not your average fabrics or embellishments. I want you to feel at home when you come in, not feel you cant bring your children or touch things. As a parent of 2 under 5s its hard enough trying to juggle mum life work life, family life etc yet alone trying to get childcare during evening and weekends. Worrying about collecting them and clock watching during your appointment to make sure you pick them up on time.
Your wedding day is about you committing yourself and celebrating your union with those all important people in your life. This includes accessibility to the building and low pile carpets with wide doors to assist where needed. Important people in your life should not be excluded when selecting your wedding dress and pride ourselves on an accessible building. Whether you have a £500 budget or a £5000 budget your experience will always be exclusive and tailored to you.
Having an in-house seamstress is of a great importance to me, you want that dress to fit to perfection and look amazing but need to ensure they fitter sees your vision or worked on your type of gown before and knows how to make it fit beautifully. We call this our Signature Fit a unique fit to you and only you.
